Jack digital productions inc. (JDP) is a dynamic multimedia company specializing in the creation, development and production of advanced software and installations.

Our Mission

In 1996, in response to the need for comprehensive and reliable cancer education, JDP began the development of the Oncology Interactive™ Education Series (OIES™). Designed to address the deficiencies of both traditional print sources and the material available on the Internet, the OIES™ has been developed in collaboration with prominent treatment centers, industry sponsors, advocacy groups, and hundreds of patients and health care professionals.

JDP’s main partner in the development of the OIES™ has been the Princess Margaret Hospital (PMH). Very early in the development process, JDP began to build relationships with key opinion leaders at PMH. These individuals recognized that the series would enable physicians and educators to deliver effective cancer education to a diverse audience of patients, caregivers, health care professionals and medical students. As a world leader in oncology, PMH was in a unique position to collaborate on a project that required an extensive background in cancer research and treatment.

This collaboration has grown into a global initiative involving over 300 oncology professionals and hundreds of patients from PMH as well as other internationally renowned institutions. The product of this collaboration, the OIES™, has set a new standard for interactive medical education. PMH now offers access to the OIES™ through its Patient Education Center, giving patients the knowledge they need to understand, live and cope with the disease.

Jack digital productions continues to develop the Oncology Interactive™ Education Series. Eight of the twenty-three titles are now available in French, and the translation of the series into German has also begun. JDP will continue to work with medical professionals and researchers in order to develop a full range of cancer-related titles in a variety of languages in order to bring clarity and a new standard of patient education to as many people world-wide as possible.
